I’ve never had a problem contacting him or having him contact me. I do find the alerts regarding the safe zones can be a little slow, but everything else works great! My son can work it easily!
Exceeds my expectationsI purchased the Spacetalk watch for my daughter in order to contact her when required. Originally I purchased the TCL Movetime Family watch as I felt it had a few better features and it was cheaper to purchase & maintain. However, it was a huge disappointment & all the features I required stopped working within 2 months. The support was underwhelming and not very helpful & it is based in the USA. Great watchIt's a great device, can be worn so it doesn't get lost, and helped me locate my child giving me peace of mind. Easy for my child to use too.
Love itOur 9 year old is able to be more independent knowing she can contact us anytime.
She also loves to check the weather each day and check her step counterBest purchase everI purchased this watch for my son’s 9th birthday so that I can keep an eye on him when he is out and about without needing to buy a phone. He walks his younger sister home from school and also likes to go on bike rides with his mates. It really is the best purchase ever. Peace of mind for me and independence for him.
Love it!Big fan of the Space Talk watch. I'm holding back "the Smartphone tide" with this device. My daughter can message me or call me from school (offering her piece of mind) even when it's in school mode. I automatically set it to be in school mode Mon- Fri so she or the class can't be disturbed by the noise of incoming messages or calls. The alarm system was a saviour during the COVID19 home learning period - I set it for break times, lunch time, specialist classes, end of school day etc so it kept her on track timing-wise. We even have "set the table" and "bed time" alerts. I am sure it's good for parents who have kids who make their own way to school to be able to see their location on the app thanks to the GPS. Mainly for me it's a useful and reliable device for communicating with kids instead of having an smartphone which gives them automatic access to the internet and a myriad of apps. As a mother, I'm not ready for her to have that access yet. My daughter had a DOKI watch, from Hong Kong when we lived there. It had similar features but I prefer the Space Watch because friends, approved by me through the app, who want to call or sms my daughter don't need to download any specific app on their phones, it's simply up to me to add them as friends on the app. I did have a few problems getting two SIM cards working in the watch but I found the problem was with the SIMs not the watch and your customer service was reliable and helpful. Well done. Great product! Worth the $$ If it was waterproof, even better!
Fabulous for younger kidsSpacetalk has been awesome for our family. We brought it for our 10 year old. It has given her much more freedom than she would otherwise have without having a phone. The GPS is invaluable. She has loved having it and it has made life easier for all of us
Great option!This is a great option to be connected with your maturing child without opening them up to the world of a full smart phone too early! Great parental controls and piece of mind to enable them the space to mature whilst satisfying parents concerns.
Scope for ImprovementA wonderful gadget and very effective. The use and installation are absolutely user friendly.

Bought for my 7 year oldI purchased this watch for my 7 year old as his 9 year old brother has one already. Love the fact that it has GPS and I can texgt and call my son. My concern is the fact that it is not waterproof.
Great watch for kidsLove the watch. Child can always make contact and you can locate child if need be. Just wish there was a way to see messages that they can send
SPACETALK are awesomeMy son and I are so happy to have this type of technology, before I'm worried but when SPACETALK came it's such a big relief. I can track my son wherever he goes sometimes if emergency i can always talk to him or track him down and also I can share my DATA to him. Definitely will recommend SPACETALK to all the parents out there. Less worries
Some improvement suggestions.This watch has been a saviour with my son who loves to wander. I have a couple of suggestions though. Perhaps remote turn on capability from the App as he has learnt if he turns it off I can't call him ♀️ also perhaps the ability for it to make a noise to find it, even after its gone flat. We have just noticed his watch missing and can't locate it as its flat. Other than that its a brilliant product. A little bit of upfront cost and a monthly fee but its great for peace of mind.
Best safety product Ive ever boughtThis is hands down the best purchase I've made. My son is 10 and getting adventurous in our small suburb. He rides to the skatepark with his friends, to his friends houses, to school and to coles to get me bread and milk. I was so worried about knowing where he is at all times and if he was to ever get into any trouble. Now I dont need to worry as much. Amazing!I purchased the Space Talks watch for my Autistic son and we've never looked back. I tried to give him my old phone, but he constantly lost it, so the fact that a phone is on his wrist all the time is amazing. The app is user friendly and the support team in the Adelaide office go above and beyond when any issues occur. This watch would be a fantastic asset to any kids suffering anxiety or who are at risk of wondering around school. I can't recommend highly enough!
It’s a best watch for kids and parents as well because you can manage all the setting from your phone .

Safety assured.We bought this product as a safety device for my mother. My mother lives in a granny flat at the back of our block. With one use to call us one night while having a heart attack. Great peace of mind.Although slightly on the speedy side, this has given myself and my son great peace of mind in his transition to more independence. I’m able to leave him messages for him to collect after school for pick up details etc, and know if there is an issue he can contact me. Well worth the money.
Spacetalk for safetyExcellent gadget, we can communicate and the most amazing feature that I think makes this gadget a winner it is not connected to internet.
Great peace of mindWe love this watch and the peace of mind it offers. Our daughter is too young for a phone but this watch means she can get in touch with us (and vice versa) when plans change. It is great knowing where she is and knowing she can contact someone she trusts quickly and easily. The only downside is the battery life. We would love to see this extended.
Fantastic for primary kids!I was lucky enough to win a spacetalk for my year 5, 11 year old son! It’s been brilliant for him as he learns independence before starting high school in the next couple of years! He can msg and call whenever he wants to and I can track him on the gps if I ever need to! It’s simple to use and I think it’s a great alternative before they step into the next phase of needing a mobile phone! It is great, when you don’t want to give your child a phone but want them to be able to contact you when needed. I do wish that I could add 13 numbers to the address book, so it was easy to check the prepaid balance.

Battery Life is not sufficientLove the ideas and functionality but the battery doesn't last long enough, despite following the user guide to improve battery life.

The battery life of the SPACETALK will differ depending on usage, the key factors that impact this being the frequency of the location updates and the volume of calls made from the watch. On the 15 minute location update setting with a light amount of calls made, the battery should generally last for around 8-12 hours. On the 1 hour update setting with similar usage, you could expect around 20+ hours of battery life. Additionally, if a SIM card from a service provider not recommended by SPACETALK is used it can also impact the battery performance. SPACETALK is tuned to work on two 3G mobile bands - 850MHz and 2100MHz - and these are the two frequencies that the Telstra 3G network uses. Use on other networks can cause poor battery performance and connection issues. If you would like a recommendation for an appropriate SIM card for the SPACETALK, recently we have been recommending Belong's (who operate on the Telstra network) $10/mo plan to customers due to how good of a fit it seems to be for SPACETALK. If your battery is still not performing as expected our customer support are able to diagnose and rectify issues regarding battery life. SpacewatchBest Buy ever. My son absolutely adores it and rarely takes it off. The service from the company was amazing too, we had to send it back for a minor repair and it was handled so well and returned so quickly we hardly missed it. Highly recommend this watch.
Rapt!I bought 2 watches for my Autistic teens starting year 7, they have been excellent! They can message or call me and only authorised contacts can call or message them. I also know they are in school through GPS, highly recommend
Gives independence with peace of mindWe bought this watch for our son who was beginning high school, instead of a phone. It’s a fabulous device that gives him more independence but also gives us great peace of mind.
Alans WatchThis watch for my family has been a godsend!
I am using this for my 80 year old Father who has early dementia and likes to walk - so if he does go missing we can find him straight away - they need a bigger watch strap though for adults , but cant really complainGreat peace of mind!We were worried about how our 9 year old son who's sister had moved onto Highschool and how safe he was going to be walking home on his own.

Great smartwatchA really good product. Love the control I have as the parent. I can keep connected with my son without the safety concerns a normal smartwatch would bring. A little bit hard to write messages on but still awesome
Very functional little gemBought this for my son with learning difficulties and am happy with it. Functions well and i love the fact i can track him. The only negative is that the retainer buckle on the watch strap sometimes comes off. I have found it around the house and also in the washing machine. Am not sure if i can buy any extra parts like the strap or its retainer. If so it would be a great help

Excellent product for primary school childrenOur 10 year old loves his watch and it gives us parents peace of mind when he is not at home. Neat features and the quality of calls is better than expected. Would get 5 stars if were not for the battery life. Should be able to use the full features with the battery lasting longer than 8 hours. Apart from that we are happy with the product and have recommended it.
