for mine I did not participate but bought on market over the last 2 weeks because I knew the price I was paying!!!!! - what a bloody stupid spp as well as being in a poor market to then ask investors - well come on board but you know we are not going to tell you the price other than it will be below 20c which was the 5 day average of some obscure period in time gone past - no we will let the mkt determine it. In many ways whether it was in a good mkt - still a bloody stupid idea, maybe they thought that was sophisticated.
Now we have a situation in which the Co is basically saying the sp is too cheap and clearly the poor response means that we look elsewhere - BUT will "elsewhere" get the same price?? and if so the argument tends to fall apart. Why not at least give the existing shareholders who asked for them under the spp and then seek funds elsewhere??
Geez it must have been embarrassingly small response and that is due in good part to poor timing and marketing
