The BARDA grant process took a lot longer than many had predicted or hoped - 6 months or a year longer? Hopefully that won't be the case with the 510k application. Another plus is John Greenwood's nomination for Australian of the Year. That will be announced on Australia Day I believe and would be enormous publicity if John Greenwood did win. You can see the nominations from other states and territories at http://www.australianoftheyear.org.au There are many clearly worthy nominations and I wonder if selection also according to meeting 'social trends' or political needs at all?
