I've participated in SPPs of different types over the years. This is my least favourite type. There will definitely be scalebacks if the current enthusiasm for CPH translates into applications, so I expect many retail investors will go after the maximum, knowing that they are likely to be scaled back. The share price at around .80 makes .69 look good.
So if I wanted to ensure I got anything much at all, I should apply for the maximum of $15,000 by sending in a cheque. They cash it and hold it until after the SPP is completed. I'm not keen at all on that, it ties up my money for several weeks with no assurance I'll get much in the way of shares. I prefer the offers that are already scaled back, such as being able to apply for 1 for every 10, etc.
