Yes, but keep in mind that the company will also have the money raised. Money will have to raised eventually, and this is a very kind way to do it. I know they could have raised a lot more by selling shares with a premium of 20% or more. Giving them to all existing holders at a discount is quite generous for a company that is in demand.
