    Might it not be smarter for that holder of 100 shares to apply for the $2500 minimum SPP amount instead of your hypothetical $30000?
    That way he is almost certain to get 10 shares @$250 each unless the VWAP - 2% is very low and falls below $227.27 which would see him get 11 shares allocated?
    I have assumed rightly or wrongly that there will be no allocations of
    _9 shares plus a refund of excess money_
    and so rounding up to 10 shares minimum allocation in SPP?
    Just putting it out there!
