These people have done such a good job on so many levels to get it built, and then lived through a 'must be kidding me' period as their best laid plans collected chinks and they were hesitant to spoil their own narrative. Nobody involved has liked that one tiny little bit.

But look at what went right, a pretty solid set of achievements in there. I have confidence that the people that did what they did could not live through this not-quite-a-train-wreck-but-we-can-see-it-from-here period and pretend more of the same is the right strategy. If we see credible news the support should build solidly, followed by results and we revisit the previous growth trajectory.

That the insto's were so quick to buy in to the current CR is its own news.

The concept that support will flounder is credible but unlikely. It would take a major geo fail to create a real problem, or a significant sustained increase in op costs due to some important latent condition to hold the MC so far below the integral value for a sustained period. Credible HC contributors and various independent advisories have forensically trawled through the entrails of the current short term difficulties and not found a basis to predict coming long term problems of significance.

Personally, I don't see such predictable coming value growth anywhere on the ASX. In any realistic scenario, 12 months will see the sp double, and likely more, so I have moved STA to the biggest single position I have ever held. Let's see how that works out; quietly confident, and patient...!
