This morning I agreed with your argument 100% and proceeded to grab my 30000 shares for $30000.
This afternoon I was following up on the presentation to find out about Petra Capital and Longspur Capital who were mentioned in one of the slides as having done and published research on Talga.
I was in for a surprise.

I found that Longspur had done an institutional Capital raise a week or so earlier and that our shareholders capital raise was planned to be at the same price of $1.05. This went ahead and Talga were considerate enough to reduce the price to $1 per share.
I don't remember any of this appearing on ASX announcements, but sometimes wonder whether I'm losing my marbles.
It appears from your post that you were also unaware
