I thought he and the other directors were *sleighed* (so to speak) when Altura was placed into administration ?

Pilbara Minerals set to secure Altura's lithium operations

Pilbara Minerals and the receivers of Altura Mining have signed a sale agreement for the Pilgangoora Lithium Project.

The deal will see Pilbara Minerals acquire Altura's lithium production asset for $US175 million ($238 million), with the sale conditional on approvals at Altura's next creditors meeting and Pilbara completing a $240 million capital raise.

Pilbara Minerals also announced that is has been granted a temporary 50 per cent royalty rebate on product sales from its Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project, which borders the Altura site.

Spodumene producers pay a 5 per cent royalty based on revenue received from sales, Pilbara noted.

Lithium producers had a massive November as signs that the election of president-elect Joe Biden would add to the acceleration in policy initiatives aimed at stimulating economic growth through decarbonisation, including the adoption of electric vehicles.

Pilbara Minerals shares added 69 per cent over November. They're up another 2.1 per cent today at 72.5¢.
