"Not sure why percentage ownership matters."


Percentages only mattered in terms of getting a gauge of how badly (or otherwise) our own stake in the company is affected/diluted. Some people were wondering so Serena and I between us did the maths.

We have to remember here that WE (ODN) are the ones getting the main benefit here (Gridcomm technology and the income that will flow from it) and we have to expect to pay something for it.

From a long term perspective even the performance shares matter not since, hopefully, they will have target SPs that ensure that, should they be issued, the company will have enough "spoils" for us all to be rich by that stage.

It's kinda like the old old question of tax. Would you rather earn $180,000 a year and give the tax man $54,500 .... or earn $17,000 and give the ba$tard nothing ?
