The reason I think this consolidation is bad for the small investor is that our margins for profit are going to be a lot less. A million shares sold for 2 dollars is a nice two million. One hundred thousands shares sold at 2 dollars is 200,000K. Basically, this is good for those who are at the top. Those at the bottom will see much less return on their investment in my opinion.
