I don't follow your logic, so your saying, shares on offer dictates the company market cap. Not its resource or profitability or any of those metrics?If iT's worth 2 billion market cap you divide by amount of shares to get its value per share.
2 billion divided by 1 billion shares would make it 2 dollars2 billion divided by 100 million shares make it 20 dollars ars a share
1miilion shares = 2million
100 000 shares = 2million. My reason is nothing stopping board to issues another 200 million shares post consolidation which eats away growth from our market cap
