You are placing far too much importance on SP - in terms of valuation, it is entirely irrelevant. Most small investors look for undervalued companies with potential upside in a timeframe that suits their trading/investment style, regardless of SP.
Noone gets screwed or punished in a consolidation - just simple mathematical reshuffling. As others have stated, liquidity is the only measurable that is really affected.
Buying 1 million shares @ $0.70 is identical to purchasing 10 million @ $0.07. This may be a psychological shift that you are uncomfortable with, for whatever reason, but the vast majority of investors will pay this no heed. At the end of the day, as an investor, SP % movement is all that matters.
