As I've previously expressed, I think their self-determined 50% reduction threshold is a high bar and one that is clinically relevant, and that could have been set lower e.g. 40%. Regardless, as such, 25-30% responding at that rate is an excellent result particularly because it is a 50% reduction with patients already on irbesartan. It's like buying a shirt that is 25% off already and then they take a further 50% off the price. That's a total 62.5% reduction from the original price! Or a 62.5% reduction in proteinuria in this case when the patient is on neither drug. Compares very well..
