You're right…it does feel a bit like Norton!
I owned a swag of Norton back then, and the only reason I owned so much (for me, anyway) was I was so annoyed with its sluggish share performance when it was such a bargain and when other gold stocks were doing well.
Then there was a market crash I think and everything in my portfolio looked sad, but then out of the blue a Chinese takeover for Norton was announced….the price mightn’t have been as high as I would have liked but I was sure grateful to have them buy my shares at the time…
…
I don’t doubt that some big players are capping TIE's shares ….perhaps they borrowed a stack of shares and every time the share price moves up a bit, they sell some of those borrowed shares….
but strong market interest in a good story in a hot sector should be able to overwhelm games like that…if enough brokers got behind it and were fully informed about the company's good story.
Some CEOs talk to brokers and funds and high net worth investors for a big chunk of their working day, while other CEOs who hate that stuff rarely talk….
I think we need Matt to turn himself into a talker…I don’t care if he hates that side of the business…it's his job.
