Thanks Marker - I will be attending the Sydney one. In past conversations I got the impression that Genentech have a full year to consider the data pack (yes PYC is really happy with it but that doesn't make a milestone) and I always got the impression that it would take at least half this time for them to consider -was something said at the AGM that makes you genuinely think there could be a fast excercise here or are you just getting a little happy on the AGM punch? From prior conversations I believe Genetech has been aware/involved in the progress so in theory it is possible to have a christmas milestone as they tend to do funding in half year cycles which is why a few on our deals have miraculously landed in late Dec but I was always imagining middle of next year as the hot months on this.
Also did they mention who the external advisor was on the strategic planning? I am getting the impression that this is setting up strongly for a late 2016/early 2017 pre clinical monster deal or takeout. They seem very focussed now on a few oncology targets.
