My estimate of $5M is based on the fact that this was a class action funded by IMF on behalf of all shareholders who bought CCP shares during the period in which CCP withheld information regarding their expected revenue.
Clime's newsletter to its shareholders and clients at the time shows that they had about $2M invested in CCP (give or take a few hundred thousand). Other retail shareholders would have had significantly more that this, as Credit Corp's apparent attractiveness as an investment was widely known.
It's important to remember that this is not just Clime vs Credit Corp. Clime was only the principal litigant in the case and would have called to give material evidence in court from their interviews with CCP's management.
