Even if MCB wins the vote IMO there is no guarantee he will kill coal anyway. Liberals and ScottM said they won't allow it. Labor have although preaching climate change action and ending the climate wars, they have also in my opinion shown that when it comes down it they are not willing or unable to simply kill off coal energy at the moment - why this is I don't know.
And also importantly, Labor said they will not renege on their policies and promises and they are not willing to team up with the Greens and step aside from their campaign promises and ideologies. Labor will have a majority government without the Greens.
Even if MCB wins the vote IMO there is no guarantee he will kill...
