Hi Peejay, I'm in the same boat as you. I was torn so have decided to vote against the demerger. Like you said, management have done a terrible job with the share price to date. They also own very few shares themselves. MCB might have other interests behind him but he's definitely got more skin in the game. At the end of the day though, our votes won't really make a difference because it seems like team demerger won't have the votes. HESTA are just the latest fund today to say they'll be voting against.
The question now is, what will happen to management? Will they fall on their swords and step down? Surely it wouldn't be in the companies best interest having them stay on.
