I judge the performance of a LIC by the increase/decrease over a year in the change in NTA plus the grossed up dividend. For the last financial year the NTA decreased from $9.01 to $8.45 (-56c). a fully franked dividend of 30c fully franked grossed up to 42.85c for a net loss of 13.15 cents. Based on a opening NTA of 901 cents that is a loss of 1.45%.
