Mate, we get it. You don't like the sovereign risk of DRC. But it has been going round and round for a month now and you haven't changed anyone's minds and you're not helping the poor souls here by continuing with the line of discussion, so why bother?

Those invested here have identified the risks and determined that the possible reward justifies that risk. We think Klaus' on the ground knowledge of the country outweighs that of HC armchair international studies specialists and we hope that over time these mining operations lift the country up. And if there are those invested here that haven't considered these things without your "help" then frankly they probably shouldn't be investing at all.

As for your statement of no improvement in the country, what is the alternative? Leave the minerals in the ground and not even give it a shot. The people of the DRC will never rise up if you don't even give them a chance. Is it not better to go in there with good intentions and fail than just write it off as hopeless before you even start?

You can talk about mudslinging all you want but if you are going to keep coming on this thread for a month baiting people with talk of political risks then you are going to see shots fired in return. Not condoning it but not saying what you get isn't unasked for either.
