The WA Supreme Court issue may be finalised sooner than expected.
A reliable source has advised me that on 31 March 2017 AVZ legals lodged a Summons of their own against MMCS for a Permanent Stay of Proceedings. We know that the matter is next listed for 11 April so perhaps that is more than just a Directions Hearing.
The AVZ legal team are aggressively defending the company’s position by making this Application to the Court to resolve the matter without having to hear the substantive claim by MMCS. This short cuts the legal process and is a show of confidence by AVZ regarding its legal standing. I am expecting multiple positive announcements in the short term which I believe should kickstart some serious upwards movement in the SP.
