re: Ann: Shareholder Newsletter - March Quart... Good post Lilac and yes I am one of the testy ones atm..nerves are a little frayed arguing the case for patience while the markets and whole macro scene are looking so fragile.
For what it is worth my money is on China doing something to help Spain out and the US concocting another dose of QE- but they could mistime it.
What a pisser things had to get this rocky right at the 11th hour for this deal..but that is how it goes sometimes. PES happened right in the midst of the GFC and I couldn't believe my luck and stupidity at the same time. Did well out of it, but had I held my nerve 100% with the options I had I would have had 500k (to potentially squander) in 2009. Ofcourse it doesn't work out like PES very often and that was one of those freak events so you can't really rest on a freak 'what if' example..
Was I mistaken or was their 200 000 shares on offer at 36c and now withdrawn?
