I got a bit of clarification on the omomyc questions as mentioned in this update. I understand that they have access to omomyc for testing purposes, and as they indicate in their update they have shown they can dekiver the compound at unprecidented efficiency. I believe they would need to investigate the ip and patents as to weather they could actually use omomyc commercially. It seems they can work with omomyc as it is published knowledge, but the commercial use of Dr Sourcek'S compound may be covered by patents. Either way it seems a major step in the right direction. Things are certainly looking better with no wild promises. If we can develop something similar to or strike a deal to use omomyc we could take off. Seems strange that we can get it in there but dont have commercial rights, and it appears DrSourceks company has commercial rights but cant get it into human cells?? Only issue either way is would thete be endless trials requured before a omomyc drug could be marketed??
