Sam wasn’t taking credit. He was giving credit to Charmaine for listening and responding to a shareholder, such as himself.
He wasn’t aware of other shareholder concerns/letters but told his story, and the comms he had with Charmaine, which indicate the respect they have for one another. Credit to them both.
As mac9 explains, a lot of Charmaine’s newsletter was comforting words and reiteration of things already communicated, but it was soothing and reassuring nonetheless. The overall theme was a fresh approach to an asset that hasn’t changed in it’s potential, despite the setbacks, mostly due to the market.
As for reasoning with you, I realise after Wombat’s post reinforced my inkling, it may not be possible.
