One of the Jansen crew who he nominated, Mariota Smutz, just pulled his nomination to become a VIT director. Yes, that's not a typo, he is outta there.
So less than 48 hours after it all started one man of four down. I would have paid money to be a fly on the wall of those discussions. It seems Smutz was sold a lemon by Jansen and Shane Tanner, who then turned around and decided he was far too busy living in a tax haven to be playing games on behalf of some bruised egos.
Yoni Bashan shows not mercy as a journo who does not suffer fools lightly. Jansen and Shane Tanner's plans have crumbled. Definitely worth a read.
The other guy who gets totally roasted is the last man standing Nathan Hight, who is Jansen's mate from a surf life saving club in some tiny NZ town and now is a occupational health and safety advisor. The big guy loves a picture with a jet ski in the surf on LinkedIn. Maybe he will rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic or jump in a reputation saving life boat. Time will tell, regardless, I would not like to be him right now.
Unbelievable stuff, 48 hours into the supposed saving of the company, one of the 4 saviours is gone, leaving 3, they might be at 2 by the end of the week.
