It appears that Computershare US operates the same as their Australian arm with a further code sent by them by snail mail after completion of the registration to enable full access. It appears they have a clunky system that will take a further 10 to 15 days to get the further code post activating the account. Add on extra time for transfer of shares to a preferred broker, we still unfortunately have a ways to go in this process. Patience is certainly a virtue!
