Re W8BEN, I understand we have to complete again ( for Computershare) even though we may have one on file in AUS with our chosen broker.
Interestingly I have been in email contact with Computershare in USA ( before Xmas) who sent me the form, after telling me they did not have one on file, however they sent me the consumer holders form, NOT the form I need for my SMSF, which is the W8 BEN E form
After I queried it, I received the correct (business) form.. but have yet to check if all elements are the same as the one I completed for Westpac Global Trading.I

I would assume so, but they did reference a new form recently issued. For those invested via SMSF or via a company, suggest you double check prior to completing, and sending to USA.

I am still shaking my head about how “archaic” this re-domocile system is, and how different it has turned out to be vs the information disseminated at our shareholders briefing 24 Aug 23 in Melbourne!
