As Westpac Global Trading is operating on legacy (old) systems, with 20 mt delay on pricing, and no market depth available, I am also looking at other more updated trading options, and currently reviewing Square.. (I had set this up for personal trading some years ago, and forgotten about it). SMSF set up now under review.
Fees look good, exchange rate looks good, email response has been good, and will look into their premium offer (fee based Black Square), later this week.
PS it was a good feeling to have access/control over my shares, so I do understand concerns. It has been a steep learning curve (good for the aging mind I would say!), and I have benefited enormously from generous info sharing of others.
