That's what IB responded to my enquiry regarding share transfer fees:
Further to the call, there is a charge of USD 25 per settled transaction or USD 100 per rejected transaction. We kindly request for you to send us an account statement from Computershare that documents the account title and ticker symbol and the quantity of the shares showing that the shares are not restricted. .
Kindly note for DRS transfers, account titles (name), account ownership, SSN/TIN numbers must match and shares must be non-restricted.
Additionally, your Interactive Brokers (IBKR) must have minimum sufficient funds (USD 100 in settled cash balances) to cover the DRS transaction. Please note IBKR generally does not actively convert currency, should you deposit AUD, you will be required to convert to USD. Do note settlement dates for most FX trades are T+2 business days. This means, if you deposit AUD on Monday, the earliest you can initiate the transfer would be Wednesday after 12am US EST (after the USD settles). Alternatively, you may choose to deposit USD.
