Hi Ian and others this may help I had issues as well with Computershare US in logging in for my SMSF I had already created account for my wifes personal shares with no issue. After many many attempts and emails I finally got through to the below lady. She was sympathetic and did ring me in hours to suit Australia (8am to 9.30am) She sorted the issue which was because they had set up the SMSF as a corporate entity hence the issues with getting past the first page of logging in. Ultimately it was sorted their end with changing details so that the final login was simply my surname only. When I contacted her I gave as much detail as I could with my contact phone number and as much other details about the account that I could. Ultimately it was sorted by her. Good luck.
