It's all down to the larger furnaces. They have been trying to get them working properly for almost three years!!!!!!!
From the Quarterly Update and Cashflow Report July 31 2009:
The Company is completing the construction and commissioning of its fuel cell stack manufacturing plant in Heinsberg, Germany. The plant is on schedule to be opened and operating in October 2009.
CFU can't get unit price down until they have larger volume orders.
CFU can't start ramping sales to get the orders until they are sure that they can reliably supply.
And in the meantime they are running short of cash.
