To be honest I found the Update to be quite positive; but then, I had already factored in a long wait for full commercialisation; and I wasn’t expecting money to be rolling in by January, as many perhaps had. The announcement did have a number of snippets of new info I thought, both pos and neg, depending on your outlook. “The fabrication of the improved equipment to commence shortly”, suggests full production is still a way off. “CSIRO to undertake independent trials later this month” – what will this cost and when the money is spent, will there still be enough left to finish the upgrade and buy a pint of pickle liquor? “Several companies have provided samples of their various materials”: this is extremely vague and I would only assume materials means Mineral Sands, because, the next sentence says “in addition we have received several new enquiries from……regarding …pickle liquor treatment.” So any advance on Mineral Sands? And when a Co sends a sample, I’m sure it is not an envelope full. It’s a bloody big container, at least. So they must be serious. And lastly, “ The Ears process has been protected by world patents since 1992. That’s 17 years; anyone know how long an international patent is good for? And having just reread this post, I’m thinking it reads more negative than I intended. But I really like the idea of “several companies”, twice, putting up their hands to be noticed. What it means is that if the rebuilt plant is as successful as we all hope it will be, the possibilities for apg will be endless; and I’m not even factoring in Multiserve. So, my reading is, if you want to make money fast, apg may not be the right investment. But long term I still feel that the bunny will get across the line; and I sure want to be there when it does. Cheers, and keep a hat on your weak end. jwt
