Firstly, I think you may be incorrect (but Im happy to be proven wrong). You merely manage a company. You dont own it and you are not privy to the "books". Have you audited the accounting , or is this your understanding of the business you manage? It sounds like youre a manager.
I also work as a director of a company that generates over 15 million dollars a year with gross profits well over 40% but we would definitely not get $10-$20 million dollars as a sale figure for muiltiple complex reasons.
Can your business be scaled and sold to billions of people on a global scale? Are you selling with multibillion dollar multinationals? Do you have growth potential on a global scale? Have you been in direct contact with the directors? Are you aware of the inner workings of the company?
These are very limited questions to start asking before you start comparing a company you work for.
Please compare apples with apples.
I do agree the sharemarket is a whacky place!!
