Good points. Think about why carbon fibre frames now dominate the market, after it having previously been aluminium and steel before that. From a consumer's perspective it was a) weight reduction b) frame rigidity c) new (the marketing promise of performance gains). From a manufacturer's perspective it was a) increased profit b) increased profit c) bet you can guess.

Carbon fibre frames entered the market when globalisation was kicking in. Across all industries manufacturing in the west was getting shafted, production shut down. All of a sudden there was a 'space age' material which didn't need welding (lower labour cost). The bicycle industry couldn't close factories fast enough. Point is where can TTT's machine fit into the mix? What is the unique selling proposition?

To truely shift the 'football club' mentality 3D printed Ti frames need to appear in the top professional level, World Tour, but while they have min. weight limits there's little motivation in that dept. A while back TTT (old man Teschner?) eluded to a TTT frame being introduced into the World Tour, but what happened? Just the usual list micro-cap fizz to get the market moist?
