I think your interpretation is different to mine here.
my understanding is that MNS put a debt offer to the funder which was ignored completely
C4V put together an offer backed by investors to buy out the debt and it was accepted.
C4V would have a range of conditions which i'm guessing included that MNS has no further rights in the project.
