There is always a chance she'll (or he'll) turn you down- that's why it's called a proposal not a demand!
If you were to see a beautiful person in the street, and propose then and there, there's a good chance you'll be turned down (ok, but I only tried it once!).
But if you were to spend time with that person and develop a relationship, it would increase your chances of a resounding YES!
And if that person (or group of people) were coming all the way from India, bloody oath I'd tell the world!
