The writing on the wall was a long time before the halt, the problem being that there was an overload of positive posts on HC, almost representing a cult... Anyone that writes anything negative was quickly either moderated or shot down... Posters also blocked anyone with a negative opinion so that they could only read positive thoughts... It's a shame this has happened but people should always have a chance to see opposing views, people should invest with their heads, not hearts... Part of the problem is hotcopper but a big part is the investor themselves... If you are stuck in this halt, it means you ignored multiple warning signs for years!
