I wouldn’t count on it being this month as they are in the middle of the election campaign and polling. Voting started on the 11th April and concludes on the 19th May.
1 million polling stations for up to 900m voters, it moves from region to region for security of voting which is why it takes so long to complete the process. They have 7 actual voting days spread across that timeframe, April 11, 18, 23 and 29, and May 6, 12 and 19.
Results announced on the 23rd May, hopefully for India’s and ECT sake Modi gets back in with a majority.
India can progress slowly whilst ECT direct resources to near term cash flows here in Vic/Tas.
