I , too , like a song. When I read your transcript (thank you, as usual)(for I couldn't listen), and saw the protestation that the very high salary expense included the employees no longer there, I remembered the $1.6m in short term incentives for employees still there . The bar must have been extraordinarily low for those STI's to be earned. (Could have paid for a decent start on renal)
So, to those protestations-
'I'm gonna harden my heart,
I'm gonna swallow my tears,
I'm gonna turn and leave you here.'
I'd like to use the line 'You gave me your word, but words for you are lies', but I wouldn't like to be sued for defamation. (Song choice sadly shows my vintage.)
