It seems that after the bid price dropped to 1.5c someone kept soaking up whatever was dropped on the sell side of 1.6 to the tune of 4mil plus? Maybe our accumulator is still at work.
I was pleased to find the bit about collaborators as noted before, almost missed it at first read. Seems to infer that a few parties are interested enough in pyc cpp s to be asking for samples to trial. The last genentech collaboration wasnt anything to do with cpps originally was it? I thought it was anti microbial or something similar.
So could be an expansion? I assume they would have needed to run scans to find a cpp with endosomal escape to suit the clients target. Would make sense if they did this for an existing partner although the update suggests they have done this for more than one party.
Either way i think this is an excellent development and may represent a short term opportunity for collaboration or partnership. As we were testing with omomyc, others can test with our cpp but must license if they want to use them commercially.
Someone else pays for the lab time and if they like what they see they license.
Almost better than the previous collaborations where we had to pay for lab time after initial upfront???
