'major chinese steel company'. Those words don't thrill me. Prepare for a drawn out, probably excruciating, removal of our IP and the giving of many promises with no realisation to we shareholders, ever. Forgive me, but I remember Hanlong and many companies very like them....doing a deal with the chinese is doing a deal with the devil. This is not racism, its just an observation of the litany of how they behave in the mkt.

But on the face of it, if they throw up enough of a carrot to get the share price back to somewhere near the black so that I can get out, I'll take that.

I wonder what BHP will think of APG getting into bed with a major chinese steel mail. Or better still Bluescope, with whom we apparently have an 'agreement'. That would be very very interesting to know. Not that BHP've taken much interest in their investment ...in fact I may be out of turn there, maybe they divested a while ago, and I can't find the top twenty right now to check.
