Well done Richard and sorry for the disrespect shown to you in that article and from some posters on HC. You are obviously the driver and leader behind BIG and have built and amazing business in a very short period of time.
I contacted the ASX a week ago to find out if it was a requirement for BIG to continue with quarterly reports. The ASX came back to me confirming this is no longer required. BIG have now taken it upon themselves to continue with a quarterly update later this week as they have nothing to hide, excellent transparency.
Whilst investing is never certain, I think the lesson here is to go on facts and not let the market dictate your actions. As WB says "the market is a voting machine in the short term but a weighing machine in the long term". Fundamentally on what I know BIG looks to have an amazing future all be it a young fast growing company, which increases risk and reward.

I think you're overlooking an important fact here ; reputation matters. A lot.
Richard has the past that he has, and he would have been much more suited as a board member or even just a consultant for BIG. Suspicion will never go away, and that by itself is probably a reason why instos would be weary of buying into BIG.
