If profit is not achieved or only a minimal profit results, then all the ISX time, effort and resources taken to respond to ASX and ASIC can be cited to shareholders as the reason for a lack lustre result.
Same response can be used against Authorities (ASX) if they cannot provide justifiable reason for the suspension other than "we can, because we the ASX"
