The leasing market in WA is pretty strong at the moment, so negotiating the termination of the NIFTY contracts should not be too hard. My guess is that paying 6 months worth should do the trick. This would allow the equipment owners to re-lease the equipment and received duplicate payments for a few months. So we are looking at C&M costs probably being much lower in 6 months time, just as Area 5 comes on line.
