Has anyone heard anything about them looking into this.
I read an article yesterday, in the financial review, that the securities regulator was looking into Illegal naked short selling due to the increase in investors failing to settle. Unfortunately they are not planning on stopping the covered short selling.
There was a temporary ban during 2008 GFC. Come on ASIC do the right thing. Other countries are banning short selling due to this dreadful virus, why aren’t we.
