I dont see the ChatGPT integration as a bad thing, I see it as a token gesture to the market\customers that WSP are trying to be perceived as being initiative and embracing AI without providing too much benefit. Thankfully, ChatGPT integration is effortless and not particularly costly.
Keep in mind that AI has been around for years and impacts us in every way, most of the time you're not even aware you're interacting with an AI engine. ChatGPT has just brought AI into the mainstream and accessibility of the technologically inept.
