I have also numerous times, every complaint goes into a database, and my understanding is that:
~ it gets flagged if there is "X amount of complaints / queries related.
I do it out of principle, and do it to at least gets some annoyance factor at ASIC, most of my queries/complaints have had more then just a pre-filled reply.
