Am not aware of any impediment to prevent two general meetings being held on the same day separated by time accordingly.
To illustrate, be no different to an Annual General Meeting (which is a General Meeting to present Annual Accounts etc. - why it's named so) being followed by a General Meeting.
Just ensure their is adequate time separation to segregate the two meetings.
