Not a complete surprise as it was expected !!
It is nice to be important, but when you are sitting in your ivory tower and that self perceived importance is threatened by the very essence (retail investors) that made up the backbone of the Company when it was just a small outfit, when a geologist was "chicken scratching" the big backyard called Mali, where the penny stocks of the ASX relied on the little "mum and dad" retail investors that put their hands in their pocket and continually supported the Company during all those lean times.
You take the open cheque book (shareholders cash) and engage Company lawyers to thwart those that are attempting to exercise their rights as a shareholder to ultimately request the Company to call meeting, and those lawyers use the governing body rules and regulations to nit pick rather than honour the intent of the documents served to declare them invalid.
It is the same governing body rules that the Company conveniently flaunted when missing the deadlines for the release of the Company's audited accounts, but it has only strengthened my resolve to continue with Franky to actively getting the documents drawn back up and sent out again for signing.
There was 2 options I could have taken, a bugger this all too hard basket or bugger you Mr Important, round 2 and get your dukes up.
You guessed it, the Company's lawyers were quick to reject one of the documents and thus we have to do them again, but that is inclusive of having to repeat doing the others again as they were reliant on the first being accepted.
Nit pick all you like, I ain't going away.
It may be nice to be (purportedly) important. I would rather be it is important to be nice.
Right up until I'm not,
fooca is pee'd off . . .
cheers
